Outback Steakhouse Resurrects a Defunct Fan Favorite

Outback Steakhouse Resurrects a Defunct Fan Favorite

Every person has a favorite restaurant that they always go to get their go-to order. Are you able to say no to a Bloomin’ Onion, Coconut Shrimp, and Filet Mignon? This is similar to the situation at Outback Steakhouse. Even though the Wedge Salad has been removed from the Outback menu, one dish continues to be so popular among customers that they have persisted in attempting to get it even after it was released.

Although the Aussie Cobb Salad and the Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad are also available at Outback, the Wedge Salad was a fan favorite up until it was discontinued due to the COVID-19 pandemic, during which it was finished.

It is with deep regret that we inform you that wedge salad has been dropped. In the year 2020, Outback Steakhouse tweeted that they had taken the choice to eliminate this particular item as part of their efforts to simplify their menu during this period.

We sincerely apologize, but the wedge salad has been removed off the menu. During this period, we have decided to remove this item as part of our efforts to simplify our menu. When it comes back, we recommend that you put our mouthwatering Blue Cheese Chopped Salad to the test.

So, if you are one of the individuals who is always missing the delicious wedge topped with bacon, blue cheese, and balsamic vinegar, we have some excellent news for you: Outback Steakhouse is going to bring it back!

The Wedge Salad will be making a comeback under the new Sweet Heat Season menu at Outback, along with a few other brand-new dishes to be added. This year, it is all about sweet and savory, and as a result, Outback Steakhouse is unveiling a new menu that includes both the sweet and the spicy.

Becky Boyd, Director of Menu Innovation and strategy at Bloomin’ Brands, says, “We are excited to offer guests a diverse menu that complements the summer season.” Becky Boyd said these words. The ‘spicy’ trend is a natural match for us, and it appeals to all of our visitors because of its balanced taste profile. This is because Outback is known for its characteristic robust flavors.

Hot honey, which has been all over the place this summer (we see you, Pizza Hut Hot Honey Pizza), is the focal point of the limited-time menu centered on the famous ingredient.

A new Hot Honey ‘Rita, a Hot Honey Fried Shrimp appetizer, a Grilled Chicken and Hot Honey Fried Shrimp meal, a Sirloin and Hot Honey Fried Chicken dinner, a Filet and Snow Crab entree, and a Tim Tam Sundae will be included on the Sweet Heat Season menu at Outback. Of course, the Wedge Salad will be back as well.

Because Outback produced its very own homemade recipe and tailored it exclusively for the menu, the hot honey is the highlight of the show. The Hot Honey Fried Shrimp and the Hot Honey Fried Chicken come with an extra side and are drizzled with the sauce. Depending on your preferences, this allows you to add as much as you want to the dish.

You will get a steakhouse potato and the side of your choice with the Grilled Chicken and Hot Honey Fried Shrimp and the Sirloin and Hot Honey Fried Chicken dishes.

The Filet and Snow Crab meal will consist of a six-ounce filet, a half pound of snow crab legs, a steakhouse potato, and a side dish.

With tomato, red onion, bacon, handmade blue cheese dressing, and balsamic glaze, Outback’s Wedge Salad is back in complete form. It also includes balsamic glaze.

The new Hot Honey ‘Rita is a cocktail that is produced with Outback’s famous hot honey, tequila, Cointreau, and citrus juice. It is completed with a cinnamon sugar rim and a hot honey-coated dipper to provide extra heat to the drink. If you want to complement your dinner with a beverage, this is the solution you should consider.

In addition, the dessert course is the capstone of any meal that needs to be finished. The new Tim Tam Sundae offered by Outback comprises vanilla ice cream rolled in Arnott’s Tim Tam cookies, drizzled with chocolate and caramel, and topped with whipped cream, more Tim Tam cookies, and honey-caramel popcorn.

Need help deciding what to get first? That’s OK; you have a lot of time on your hands. Since the Sweet Heat Season menu at Outback will be available from July 26 through October 31, you can return and sample the new cuisine on several occasions.

Make sure you have your Hot Honey Rita ready, and let’s raise a glass to a hot and spicy summer at Outback.
